Our History
Tommy Nevin's poured its first pint on September 13, 1990 in Evanston. The Irish-themed restaurant/pub was the brainchild of Steven Prescott, who named the restaurant/pub after his grandfather, Thomas Nevin. Thomas or "Tommy" as he was affectionately known was a WWI hero and devoted father.
Tommy Nevin's Frankfort opened its doors in October 2009. We pride ourselves in offering our guests great food and top-notch service in a warm, friendly environment.
Whether you are in the mood to belly up to our fully stocked bar, enjoy a pleasant meal with your family, or catch some quality live entertainment, we look forward to serving you.
Our group of Irish/American eateries and Steakhouses include: The Kerry Piper in Willowbrook, Muldoon's in Wheaton, Tommy Nevin's in Evanston, Tommy Nevin's in Naperville, Pete Miller's Steakhouse in Wheeling, and Pete Miller's Steakhouse in Evanston. Each Irish Pub has been designed to replicate the authentic feel and warmth of the pubs and restaurants you would find in Ireland. The Irish culture is one very rich in history and steeped in tradition. We have gone to great lengths to bring the various traditions of the Emerald Isle back home so that we may revel in the beauty that is
Ireland.
